It was very frustrating not being able to log on for long periods - but never having used this type of teaching tool before I hope it will be of use as I am also new to teaching pupils with severe learning difficulties. I would look to use the course to improve my ability to employ ICT in an appropriate and useful way.
In week 3 I found the exercises on "my unit plan" useful and the use of specific questions to frame your planning appears a good method of working. However, I still need to find out how I am going to best use wikispaces to aid my new teaching role. Hopefully, over the next few weeks, I will discover some or all of the answers ! see you on Wednesday evening (week 5)
Week 5 was generally very useful and I have used the Visual Ranking Tool in some lessons. I can also see how the Seeing Reason Tool can be used. I look forward to week 9 but I hope everyone has had time to look at the materials, especially considering this is generally a busy time of year - it's the night before and i am only looking now !
